Main Street Pilsner owes its creation to a few friendly beers and some impulsive decisions. Last November at the Hopscotch Festival, restaurateurs and long time friends Cameron Forsyth and Nigel Pike shared drinks and discussed future business endeavors.
Forsyth is the owner of Public Lounge, and Nigel Pike co-owns another local establishment, The Cascade Room. The duo approached Russell Brewing Company – makers of a beer they liked and respected – for help and guidance, as well as a temporary place to brew their beer. Through meticulous mixing, they were able to introduce the unique Main Street Pilsner into Public Lounge, Cascade and Habit within months.
